RESUMO O artigo analisa os limites das teorias democráticas que buscam interpretar os efeitos da digitalização sob uma ótica teórica e normativa. Defende que perspectivas deliberativas e agonistas são restritas,impedindo diagnósticos políticos e sociais mais complexos do problema.Assim,propõe uma visão ampliada da digitalização e sua relação com a teoria democrática, sugerindo uma agenda de pesquisa mais abrangente.

ABSTRACT The article examines the limitations of democratic theories that seek to interpret the effects of digitalization from a theoretical and normative perspective. It argues that deliberative and agonistic approaches are too restrictive,hindering more complex social and political diagnoses.Therefore,it proposes an expanded view of digitalization and its relationship with democratic theory, suggesting a broader research agenda.

RESUMO Este artigo analisa a política de Estado do salário mínimo (SM) desde 1994, e seus impactos sobre a remuneração do trabalho. Baseado na teoria da determinação dos salários, investiga a influência do SM sobre os estratos de renda. Conclui haver forte correlação com a renda abaixo da mediana, evidenciando limitada efetividade da negociação coletiva e da barganha individual sob as garantias constitucionais de liberdade sindical.

ABSTRACT This paper examines the state's minimum wage (MW) policy since 1994 and its effects on labor earnings. Drawing on wage determination theory, it explores the MW's influence across income levels. Findings indicate a strong association with incomes below the median, suggesting limited efficacy of both collective bargaining and individual negotiation under constitutional provisions for union freedom.

RESUMO Este artigo aborda a “Apresentação” da revista Les Temps Modernes, manifesto no qual Sartre expõe o essencial de suas teses sobre a função intelectual e o sentido político do ato de escrever. Trata-se de verificar como essas teses ganham corpo no entrecruzamento dos pressupostos filosóficos do autor com os impasses de sua época. O objetivo é reconstruir um momento-chave das origens intelectuais da noção de engajamento.

It aims to examine how these theses take shape at the intersection of the author’s philosophical assumptions with the challenges of his time. The goal is to reconstruct a key moment in the intellectual origins of the notion of commitment.

RESUMO A financeirização sempre esteve ausente do debate público do ponto de vista do setor estatal. Este artigo discute o relatório do Senado da França Financiarisation de l’offre de soins: une opa sur la santé?, de 2024, que quebrou esse silêncio. Por meio de análise documental, o estudo de caso rastreou a interpretação dos legisladores franceses sobre o fenômeno e seus possíveis impactos na implementação de uma Política Nacional de Cuidados no Brasil.

ABSTRACT Financialization has always been absent from the public debate from the perspective of the state sector.This article discusses the French Senate report Financiarisation del’offre de soins:uneopa sur la santé?, from 2024, which broke this silence. Through document analysis, the case study traced French legislators’ interpretation of the phenomenon and its possible impacts on the implementation of a National Care Policy in Brazil.

RESUMO O estudo analisa as recomendações do Mecanismo Estadual de Prevenção e Combate à Tortura do Rio de Janeiro (MEPCT/RJ), principal órgão da política de prevenção à tortura no estado e pioneiro no Brasil, e revela os desafios em sua elaboração, articulação e monitoramento. Apesar de seu potencial comoferramenta estratégica, a efetividade do MEPCT é limitada por falhas internas e fatores externos,como falta de recursos e vontade política.

ABSTRACT The study analyzes the recommendations of the Rio de Janeiro State Mechanism for the Prevention and Combat of Torture (MEPCT/RJ),the state’s main torture prevention policy body and a pioneer in Brazil, and reveals the challenges in its development, coordination, and monitoring. Despite its potential as a strategic tool, the MEPCT’s effectiveness is limited by internal flaws and external factors, such as a lack of resources and political will.

RESUMO O artigo discute as assessorias técnicas e os mutirões em São Paulo, compilando aportes elaborados por profissionais que fizeram parte dessas ações e apontando a centralidade paulista como gênese para tais práticas. Propõe-se a construção de uma “montagem genealógica” latino-americana que conecte a produção paulista a outros eventos, inserindo-a em um campo historiográfico abrangente e enriquecendo a prática e crítica dessas ações.

ABSTRACT The article discusses the technical advisory groups and the collective construction in São Paulo, compiling contributions from professionals who participated in these actions and highlighting the centrality of São Paulo as the genesis of such practices. It proposes the construction of a Latin American “genealogical-montage” that connects São Paulo’s production to other events, inserting it into a broader historiographical field and enriching the practice and critique of these initiatives.

RESUMO O artigo investiga o extremismo de direita nos Estados Unidos a partir da categoria de “economia moral”. Argumenta-se que dinâmicas de radicalização não podem ser reduzidas a patologias sociais nem a escolhas racionais,mas devem ser compreendidas como reações morais de grupos historicamente privilegiados diante da contestação de hierarquias sociais. A análise ilumina a relação entre autoritarismo, violência e crise democrática.

ABSTRACT The article examines right-wing extremism in the United States through the lens of “moral economy.” It argues that radicalization cannot be reduced to social pathologies or rational choice but must be understood as moral reactions of historically privileged groups confronted with challenges to social hierarchies. The analysis highlights the links between authoritarianism, violence, and democratic crisis.
