Resumo: Em contexto de cerco anti-humano, este Editorial convida ao aprofundamento do debate sobre diversidade humana no Serviço Social, a partir dos fundamentos ontológicos e das contribuições teórico-políticas na esteira do pensamento marxista. Apresenta algumas das polêmicas e dos desafios que rondam o debate, apontando o acúmulo construído pela profissão. Reafirma a urgência da construção de unidades estratégicas no âmbito das lutas sociais, na direção de um projeto de emancipação humana.

Abstract: In the context of an anti-human siege, this Editorial invites a deeper debate on human diversity in Social Work, based on ontological foundations and theoretical-political contributions following Marxist thought. It presents some of the controversies and challenges surrounding the debate, highlighting the accumulated knowledge built by the profession. It reaffirms the urgency of building strategic unity within social struggles, towards a project of human emancipation.

Resumo: Este estudo analisou a relação entre violência contra a mulher e tentativas de suicídio. As tentativas de suicídio revelaram-se formas extremas de romper com a violência, configurando-se como consequências diretas de uma sociedade patriarcal que oprime, silencia e desvaloriza as mulheres. O suicídio surgiu como expressão do sofrimento psíquico produzido por relações de poder desiguais e pela ausência de redes de apoio e de políticas públicas eficazes de enfrentamento às violências.

Abstract: This study analyzed the relationship between violence against women and suicide. Suicide attempts were revealed as extreme ways of breaking free from violence, representing a direct consequence of a patriarchal society that oppresses, silences, and devalues women. Suicide emerged as an expression of the psychological suffering produced by unequal power relations and the absence of support networks and effective public policies to address violence.

Resumo: Este artigo analisa a distância entre o reconhecimento jurídico dos direitos da população LGBT+ e sua efetivação por meio de políticas públicas no estado do Piauí. Compreende a homotransfobia como violação de direitos humanos e expressão da questão social. Adota abordagem qualitativa, crítico--interpretativa, de natureza bibliográfica e documental, examinando decisões judiciais e iniciativas estaduais, evidenciando avanços formais e limites institucionais à efetividade dos direitos.

Abstract: This article analyzes the gap between the legal recognition of LGBT+ rights and their implementation through public policies in the state of Piauí, Brazil. It understands homotransphobia as a human rights violation and an expression of the social question. The study adopts a qualitative, critical-interpretative approach, based on bibliographic and documentary research, examining judicial decisions and state initiatives, highlighting formal advances and institutional limits affecting the effectiveness of rights.

Resumo: O presente trabalho analisa a relação entre diversidade sexual e de gênero e diversidade humana no contexto sócio-histórico capitalista cisheteropatriarcal, evidenciando como essas relações moldam a individualidade humana e estruturam a reprodução social. A partir de uma perspectiva crítica, investiga-se a forma como o corpo é apropriado e mercantilizado, bem como as orientações sexuais e identidades de gênero dissidentes são oprimidas.

Abstract: This study analyzes the relationship between sexual and gender diversity and human diversity within the socio-historical context of cisheteropatriarchal capitalism, highlighting how these relationships shape human individuality and structure social reproduction. From a critical perspective, it examines how the body is appropriated and commodified, as well as how dissident sexual orientations and gender identities are oppressed.

Resumo: O artigo aborda o pensamento feminista materialista, em especial a tradição francófona, a partir de suas repercussões no feminismo brasileiro e de possíveis contribuições para o Serviço Social. Realizamos um diálogo entre materialismo histórico-dialético e epistemologia feminista, que considera análises em torno das relações sociais de sexo, “raça”/etnia e classe, da divisão sexual do trabalho e da crítica às ideologias essencialistas, potentes para o enfrentamento à dominação das mulheres.

Abstract: This article examines materialist feminist thought, particularly the francophone tradition, through its impact on brazilian feminism and its potential contributions to Social Work. We engage in a dialogue between dialectical historical materialism and feminist epistemology, which considers analyses of social relationships of sex, “race”/ethnicity and class, the sexual division of labor, and critiques of essentialist ideologies, all of which are powerful tools for confronting the domination of women.

Resumo: Este artigo reflete, por meio da análise de 48 Projetos Pedagógicos de Curso (PPCs) de universidades públicas brasileiras, a incorporação da temática da diversidade sexual na formação em Serviço Social. Evidencia-se um hiato entre o projeto ético­político declarado e sua efetivação pedagógica, expresso na transversalidade frágil, na ausência de arcabouço interseccional que articule sexualidade à totalidade da questão social e na assimilação discursiva que silencia o enfrentamento efetivo da LGBTfobia.

Abstract: This article reflects, through the analysis of 48 Pedagogical Course Projects (PPCs) from Brazilian public universities, on the incorporation of sexual diversity in Social Work education. A gap is evidenced between the declared ethical-political project and its pedagogical implementation, expressed in fragile transversality, the absence of an intersectional framework that articulates sexuality with the totality of social issues, and in discursive assimilation that silences the effective confrontation of LGBTphobia.

Resumo: Este estudo analisa como a memória, as narrativas e a pedagogia crítica reforçam a identidade e o protagonismo comunitário num território rural. Fundamentado no projeto Vozes da Folgosa e utilizando metodologias participativas, identificaram-se três eixos: reapropriação identitária, problematização estrutural e ações coletivas. Verificou-se que a construção dialógica da memória promove consciência crítica como uma possível estratégia para territórios que se encontrem numa situação de vulnerabilidade.

Abstract: This study analyzes how memory, narratives, and critical pedagogy reinforce identity and community protagonism in a rural area. Based on the Vozes da Folgosa project and utilizing participatory methodologies, three axes were identified: identity reappropriation, structural problematization, and collective actions. It was found that the dialogical construction of memory promotes critical awareness as a possible strategy for areas in vulnerable situations.

Resumo: Este texto pressupõe que o Sistema Nacional de Atendimento Socioeducativo (Sinase) se organiza na interface assistência social, educação e sistema de justiça. Aponta as tendências conservadoras e emancipatórias em disputa no atendimento a adolescentes autores de ato infracional no contexto capitalista. O Sinase representa um avanço na socioeducação, embora inflija desafios na garantia da proteção integral aos adolescentes num cenário de avanço da violência do capital e regressão da política social.

Abstract: This text assumes that the National Socio-Educational System (Sinase) is organized at the interface of social assistance, education, and the justice system. It points out the conservative and emancipatory tendencies in dispute regarding the care of adolescents who commit infractions in the capitalist context. Sinase represents an advance in socio-education, although it presents challenges in guaranteeing the full protection of adolescents in a scenario of advancing capital violence and regression of social policy.

Resumo: Este artigo demonstra que, ao recentrar a primeira infância no combate à pobreza, o Fundo das Nações Unidas para a Infância (Unicef) sutura eficiência neoliberal a um familismo moralizante. Trata de pesquisa documental envolvendo 104 documentos produzidos pelo Unicef entre 1972 e 2023, ancorada no materialismo histórico-dialético e na análise temática. Os resultados evidenciam a centralidade do léxico de investimento e sua tradução em dispositivos que familizam a proteção na primeira infância.

Abstract: This article demonstrates that, by refocusing early childhood on combating poverty, the United Nations Children’s Fund (Unicef) combines neoliberal efficiency with moralizing familism. It is a documentary study involving 104 documents produced by Unicef between 1972 and 2023, anchored in historical-dialectical materialism and thematic analysis. The results highlight the centrality of the investment lexicon and its translation into devices that familiarize early childhood protection.

Resumo: O estudo analisa a assistência social na Rússia durante 1918, período inicial da Revolução Russa. Trata-se de pesquisa historiográfica com fontes originais. Investiga-se a ruptura bolchevique com a caridade burguesa e tradicional, bem como a implementação de um sistema estatal de seguridade social. A pesquisa aborda a criação do Narkomsobes, a dissolução de instituições filantrópicas e a racionalização da assistência. Conclui-se que a Revolução Russa inaugurou um novo paradigma de proteção social.

Abstract: This study analyzes the of social assistance in Russia during 1918, the initial period of the Russian Revolution. This is a historical work based on original sources. It investigates the Bolshevik break with charity, and the implementation of a state social security system. The research addresses the creation of Narkomsobes, the dissolution of philanthropic institutions, and the rationalization of assistance. We argue that the Russian Revolution inaugurated a new paradigm of social protection.

Resumo: Este artigo explora as consequências do tripé colonização-latifúndio­-escravidão, com o propósito de elucidar aspectos da formação cultural brasileira. Amparado numa revisão bibliográfica, no campo do pensamento social brasileiro, apresentam-se como resultados os processos históricos que evidenciam a transplantação cultural, a diversidade étnico-cultural do povo brasileiro e a difusão da ideologia do colonialismo, elementos que denotam particularidades da cultura na sociedade brasileira.

Abstract: This article examines the consequences of the colonization-plantation-slavery triad with the aim of elucidating key aspects of Brazilian cultural formation. Grounded in a bibliographic review within the field of Brazilian social thought, the study identifies historical processes that reveal cultural transplantation, the ethnic and cultural diversity of the Brazilian people, and the dissemination of colonial ideology, elements that highlight specific characteristics of culture in Brazilian society.

Resumo: O artigo analisa os impactos da maternidade na trajetória acadêmica de docentes de Serviço Social atuantes no ensino superior na Espanha, tomando o contexto brasileiro como contraponto analítico. Os resultados indicam que a maternidade opera como marcador central das desigualdades de gênero no meio acadêmico, produzindo sobrecarga, sentimentos de culpa e desvantagens estruturais, especialmente em contextos institucionais fortemente orientados pelo produtivismo.

Abstract: This article analyzes the impacts of motherhood on the academic trajectories of Social Work faculty members in Spanish higher education, using the Brazilian context as an analytical counterpoint. The findings indicate that motherhood operates as a central marker of gender inequalities in academia, producing work overload, feelings of guilt, and structural disadvantages, especially within institutional contexts strongly oriented toward productivist logics.
