The objective of this article is to analyze the flow of tourists in Campo Grande (MS) based on a methodological proposal. It is worth noting that the capital of Mato Grosso do Sul is the largest city included in the bioceanic route. Despite the presence of observatories and institutions, difficulties were identified in quantifying tourist flow due to the incipient collection, processing, and analysis of data. It is understood that the incorrect handling of this data could compromise the tourism and travel sector. Therefore, a quantitative analysis was conducted using secondary data provided by various sources. A weighting technique was applied to the sampled locations, adjusting the values based on the percentages of tourists arriving at the airport and the city's bus terminal. The results showed that each stratum reflects distinct realities, and the weighting factors allowed for adjustments to these variations, considering the diversity of tourists arriving throughout the year in different periods. Thus, this study presented a methodological proposal to analyze tourist flow, and understanding the dynamics within the flow can be used to strengthen the relationship between the cities and countries that constitute the Bioceanic Route.
