AN APPLICATION OF THE SHRÖDINGER’S CAT THEORY TO UNDERSTAND THE APOCALIPTIC AND CONTEMPORARY FINNEGANS WAKE?The text that follows proposes an application of the Shrödinger’s Cat Theory from quantum mechanics in the understanding and translation of a given excerpt of Finnegans Wake by James Joyce. In order to carry out such exercise, we found support in the notion of open work (ECO, 2010), and in the understanding that the aforementioned book is a contemporary text (AGAMBEN, 2009) possibly resulting from the author’s wander (OLIVIERI-GODET, 2010).
