Resumo: A crítica à noção do Eu é um tema do pensamento de Nietzsche que pode ser contextualizado dentro do debate oitocentista sobre a psicologia científica. Esse debate encontra em autores como Friedrich Lange e Ernst Mach dois pontos de referência importantes. Ambos perspectivam um desenvolvimento das ciências cognitivas em direcção a uma “psicologia sem alma” favorecendo assim um afastamento desta disciplina da velha metafísica da substância. No presente artigo nos referiremos aos autores encimados para compreender se e em que sentido Nietzsche pensa na necessidade de uma rejeição da noção de sujeito em filosofia.

Abstract: Friedrich Nietzsche’s criticism towards the substance-concept “I” plays an important role in his thought, and can be properly understood by making reference to the 19th century debate on the scientific psychology. Friedrich Lange and Ernst Mach gave an important contribution to that debate. Both of them thought about a “psychology without soul”, that is, an investigation that gives up with the old metaphysics of substance in dealing with the mind-body problem. In this paper I shall deal with Lange’s and Mach’s views, in order to shed some light on Nietzsche’s rejection of the I in philosophy.

Resumo: Neste artigo propomo-nos mostrar que a formulação da questão filosófica, determinante de uma indagação acerca do mundo ou de algo a ele pertencente, é formulada desde uma resposta que se quer sustentar devido à adoção de uma perspectiva prévia. Em vista disso, utilizaremos o perspectivismo nietzschiano para compreender a diferença nas respostas de Husserl e Feyerabend ao método como problema.

Abstract: In this article we propose to show that the formulation of the determinant philosophical question of an investigation about the world or something that belongs to it, is formulated by an answer which wants to sustain itself through the adoption of a previous perspective. In view of this we will use the nietzschean perspectivism to comprehend the difference in the answers of Husserl e Feyerabend to the method as a question.

Resumo: A segunda Consideração Extemporânea foi acolhida no cenário filosófico contemporâneo como uma obra singular do pensamento nietzschiano que serve de marco na transição do tempo abstrato para o tempo vivido; sua maior virtude teria sido evidenciar o futuro enquanto um modo temporal dominante na existência humana. Contudo, pretendo mostrar que, nesse livro, Nietzsche está na verdade interessado em combater os efeitos devastadores da percepção do tempo para o homem - um problema que já o perseguia -, encontrando, para tanto, recursos preciosos numa apropriação valorativa da história.

Abstract: The Second Untimely Meditations was received within the philosophical contemporary scene as a singular work of the nietzschean thought, which serves as a turning point from the abstract time to the experienced time; his greatest virtue would have been to evidence the future as a dominant temporal mode in the human existence. Although, I intend to show that, in this work, Nietzsche is in fact interested in combating the devastating effects of the perception of time to man - a problem that already followed him - finding, for this, precious resources in a valued appropriation of History.

Resumo: O artigo discute a hipótese de Paolo D’Iorio e Olivier Ponton, segundo a qual Humano, demasiado humano deve ser considerado o livro que instaura efetivamente a obra de Nietzsche. A chamada “fase wagneriana”, simbolizada por O nascimento da tragédia, deveria ser colocada em suspenso, por se tratar de um momento hesitante e sem continuidade.

Abstract: The article discusses the hypothesis of Paolo D’Iorio and Olivier Ponton, according to Menschlisches, Allzumenschlisches to be considered the book that introduces the work of Nietzsche. The so-called “wagnerian phase”, symbolized by Der Gebürt der Tragödie, should be placed on hold for a moment hesitant and without continuity.

Resumo: Em 1863, último ano de seus estudos na célebre escola Pforta, Nietzsche leu as Lições sobre belas-letras e arte e o ensaio Bürger, de A.W. Schlegel, tendo elaborado anotações sobre ambos os textos. A partir de tais leituras, teve acesso a uma detalhada exposição da teoria romântica, no que diz respeito às questões da arte e da linguagem, assim como a uma análise da obra do poeta Gottfried August Bürger. O interesse pela estética romântica de August Schlegel permaneceu vivo nos anos seguintes, estendendo-se a todo período de elaboração de O Nascimento da tragédia. Neste artigo pretendo examinar a recepção de Nietzsche dos escritos de Schlegel, especialmente do ensaio Bürger, assim como elucidar aspectos importantes do diálogo que estabeleceu com o primeiro romantismo alemão.

Abstract: In 1863, in his last year of study at the famous Pforta school, Nietzsche read Lectures on Literature and Art and the essay Bürger by A. W. Schlegel, both on which he made notes. It was from such texts that he gained access to a detailed exposé on romantic theory regarding art and language, as well as an analysis on the work of the poet Gottfried August Bürger. His interest in the romantic aesthetics of August Schlegel would persist in the following years, continuing through the entire period in which he wrote The Birth of Tragedy. This article aims to examine Nietzsche’s reception of Schlegel’s works, notably the essay Bürger, as well as expound on important aspects of the dialogue he established with the early German romanticism.

Resumo: O artigo explora a pertinência filológica, o sentido e as questões da “bandeira das Luzes” “com os nomes de Petrarca, Erasmo, Voltaire” que Nietzsche afirma querer “levar adiante” em Humano, demasiado humano (I, §26). Ele procura fazer surgir a coerência tipológica de um homem das Luzes herdeiro do Renascimento, fundado sobre a ideia de uma mobilidade tanto nacional, social, quanto literária e filosófica. Nietzsche se inscreve nessa “história monumental” dos “espíritos livres”, filósofos-poetas, “libertadores” anti-escolásticos e reformadores de seu tempo, esboçando a figura do “bom europeu”.

Abstract: This article investigates the philological background and philosophical stakes of the “banner of the enlightenment”, “with the names of Petrarch, Erasmus, Voltaire”, that Nietzsche wants to “bring further” (Human, all too human, I, 26). It underlines the typological construction of an enlightenment man as an heir of the Renaissance, characterized by his mobility beyond national, social, literary and philosophical boarders. Nietzsche takes place in this “monumental history” of these philologists and philosophers-poets, “liberators” anti-Scholastic and reformators of their time, anticipating the notion of “good European”.
