Open-access Nietzsche and the Physiology of Art

This article is an exhibition of an interpretation about physiology of art discussed by Friedrich Nietzsche. Our focus is to offer to the reader an analysis of the subject in question by bringing together the books The Birth of Tragedy and Twilight of the Idols. In the last one, the author presents us a thesis about the art that evince a close interconnection between biological condition of the agent and the artistic creation. However, although the physiology of art had gained attention in last works of Nietzsche, similar concerns may already be identified in The Birth of Tragedy.
