SUMMARY
The reaction of eleven dry bean lines to three different levels of fertilizer was analysed in Campinas, during the rainy season of the years 1964 and 1965. The basic level was 30:100:45 kg/ha of N, P2O5, and K2O and the other levels were five and ten fold the basic one.
The analysis of variance for the combined data of the trials indicated that the levels of fertilizer and the linear effect were significative at 5%, while the difference among lines and the interaction lines x years, at 1% level. It also showed that the interaction lines x levels was not significative.
