The study of flavoniods in Coffea canephora cultivars

SUMMARY
The study of flavonoids in the cultivars Kouillou, Robusta, Laurentii and Bukobensis of Coffea canephora is reported. Thirty one different flavonoids were detected. Twenty three of them were found to be common to Robusta, Kouillou and Laurentii. The data obtained indicated that the flavonoid pattern is indicative of the geographical distribution of the cultivars of Coffea canephora. The cultivars Bukobensis with the lowest affinity value is found in the extreme position of the range distribution of the species.
