Brazil, the national politics of arms sales - PNEMEM - and weapons international trade: a study case

Abstract

The article explores the Brazilian politics of arms sale during the decades of 1970 and 1980, as well as the impact of those transferences on the country's international relations. The text analyzes the decision making process that culminated with the sale of some EMB-312 for Honduras. Original documents from Ministry of Foreign Affairs (AHMRE) are very important in this paper.
