European financial capital and enslaving violence in Modern Era

This book tells the history of the slave trade in Angola between 1640 - the year of the Portuguese Restoration -, and 1770, as part of the Pombaline reforms. The work analyzes the relationship between European financial capital and the enslaver violence responsible for the opening of markets of human beings in Angola.
