Aging and social protection: approaches between Brazil, Latin America and Portugal

The reflections show the formation of the protection systems and social security of the elderly population in the Brazilian reality, Latin American and Portuguese. Therefore, it has the methodology to analyze the bibliographic production on the study of the elderly population. It presents a dialogue with the state public agenda through the documentary sources that involves the formal legal framework, and plans, programs and services implemented in each researched reality.
