The aim of this paper is to analyse the internationalisation of Research and Development activities carried by the Transnational Corporations. Based on the information of Transnational Corporations from United States provided by the Bureou of Economic Analisys, the paper try to assess how these corporations allocate its R&D expenses inf foreign countries, comparing the the role of Asia and Latin America affiliates, with special reference to Brazilian affiliates.
