Open-access A invenção do instrumento vocal em Got Lost, de Helmut Lachenmann

This article consists of an investigation into the vocal instrument in the work of German composer Helmut Lachenmann (1935). To this end, we will analyze the main aspects of his compositional thought at two points: firstly, investigating the very notion of instrument in the composer's poetics, seeking to understand the articulation between thought and compositional practice through the concepts that unfold from his concrete instrumental music; subsequently, observing the relationship established between voice and textual elements in his work as a whole, we will analyze some of the compositional strategies that Lachenmann uses in Álvaro de Campos's text, Todas as cartas de amor são ridículas, in his piece Got Lost (2008 ), for piano and soprano, investigating the discursive aspects that emerge from the construction of the instrument in question.
