In the present work the authors present the study of the floral anatomy of the specie Barjonia erecta (Vell.) Schum. The following anatomical characteristics were observed in the floral segments: presence of bicollateral bundles in the pedicel and receptacle; collateral bundles in the corola tube, sepals, petals, anthers and gynostegium. In each carpel were observed 24-25 vascular bundles of which three are more developed: two are denominated secundary marginal and largest, the dorsal bundle. The coronas consist of ten parenchymatous segments whithout vascularization but presenting a papillose epidermis.
