Open-access PEDAGOGIC CONCERNS AND PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION' STUDENT ENROLLED IN SUPERVISED PRACTICE

The aim of this study was to investigate the pedagogic concerns and professional competence in academics who act in the supervised training in Physical Education. Participants were 42 academics from two public University of Santa Catarina state. The Teacher Concerns Questionnaire and the Scale of Perceived Professional Competence in Physical Education was used to access variables. The statistical analyzes was conducted through Shapiro-Wilk, ANOVA, Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests. Results showed that students have similar pedagogic concerns and perceive themselves more competent in the professional skills dimension. It is possible to conclude that these students converge to the same professional profile, but with some differences between the subjetcts supervised practice I and II.
