Escrita no féminin: the bodies/corpus in différance of Derrida and Preciado

Following the deconstruction of phonophallogocentrism initiated by Jacques Derrida, we perform a choreography that delves into terms from binomials pairs marginalised by the Western metaphysical tradition: the body, writing, and the feminine. Consequently, we propose that Jacques Derrida and Paul Preciado challenge phonophallogocentrism and engage in a “escrita no féminin” (in the feminine, not feminine, not female, not feminist, not dual, not oppositional, not hierarchical), and thus in différance. In Literature or Philosophy, the written mark has traditionally been that of the logos (the corpus), not the body. Here therefore, Derrida and Preciado are understood through their bodies/corpus. Amid this dance, the question of voice and its relation to sexual difference takes the stage. Ultimately, we understand that the corpus in différance of both philosophers remains intertwined with the lived experience of their bodies.
