Gender trouble in psychology theorizations

Abstract

This essay tries to understand the 'trouble' that theorizing gender implies given the complexity of this concept, which necessarily means to meet with difference and the need to position oneself in this encounter, and, before that, the tendency of the Academy and Psychology to domesticate and discipline the concept. The literary narrative is proposed as one possible "therapy" for this situation.
