Primary health care in the control of communicable diseases

Abstract

This paper describes the main factors of a crisis situation within the health services system in this country. It also shows the raising of alternate models to extend the health service coverage to the whole population, as one of the strategies of action. The main activities for controlling communicable diseases at the primary care level are also' enumerated.
