Open-access Anticolonial Genesis of Latin American Constitutionalism

This article analyze Latin American constitutionalism and its anticolonial character in the birth of the continent's national states. For that seek to describe the existing social contradictions at the time of independence, the early nineteenth century. Article studies the character of Latin American constitutionalism using examples from the Republics of Haiti and Paraguay and conclude with the difficulties of its implementation, which continues to this day.
