Open-access Möebius Syndrome: Speech-language pathology assessment by internet

Purpose:  to report a case of Möebius syndrome, giving emphasis to the speech therapist assessment by InterNet.

Methods:  case report and revision of literature using the computerized terminal on the InterNet with research in the sites of BIREME and PUBMED.

Results:  It was not found in the revision of literature a case of Möebius syndrome to make possible the speech therapist assessment. The improvement from this children through assessment for email, was notable.

Conclusion:  It is possible to make a favorable therapeutical bond through the computerized connection. The virtual therapy was only possible favours to the great envolvement, confidence and integration between the therapist, the family and the patient.
