Experimental equipment for obtaining pVt data for gaseous systems

Abstract

Experimental data (pressure-temperature-volume) at the fixed temperature were measured for air in low pressures. The experimental apparatus was an equilibrium cell equipped with an isothermal water bath. The range of temperature was 23 ºC to 60 ºC and for the pressure, 1.04 atm up to 1.73 atm. The results permitted to check some lays found in the literature, such as: Boyle-Marriotte and Gay-Lussac, as well as the ideal gas equation.
