Open-access A g measurement proposal inspired by a textbook problem from professor Moysés Nussenzveig

Abstract

Determining the free fall acceleration is a common practice in Physics didactic laboratories. In this work, we present an experimental proposal to measure the acceleration of gravity based on an problem from professor Moysés Nussenzveig’s Mechanics textbook. This determination is carried out using the movement of a glider on an inclined air track, and has discrepancy of the order of 0.5%.
