Open-access A review on fundamental aspects of the Piaget's theory: possible implications for physics teaching

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to show the implication of the empiricism, innatism and constructivism in the physics teaching-learning process. Therefore, some reflections concerning the epistemology concept and the different ways to understand the knowledge origin, including some Piaget's constructivist theory fundamental points were done. The conclusion shows that the piagetian knowledge theory has some strong arguments to subsidize the physics teacher's pedagogic practice.
