Intrafamiliar Sexual Violence and Teenage Pregnancy: A Bioecological ReadingThis paper aims to investigate the experience of adolescent pregnancy resulting from intrafamily sexual violence and meanings in this peculiar dynamic. This is a case study of a 15-year-old adolescent, patient at a public hospital. Using the ecological insertion method, the information was constructed from semi-structured interview and field diary records, and the analysis was carried out based on bioecological theory. The results showed proximal processes that allowed minimizing dysfunctional effects and collaborating in the motherhood task, in face of traumatic experience and adversity. Contextual aspects highlighted the importance of communication in the family microsystem and the role of the support network in the resignification of motherhood, including it in their life project.
