Interviews in school psychology: thougts on teaching and practice

Abstract

The interview is an instrument used frequently in the work of a School Psychologist, however few studies directed exactly to this population exist principally for interns. This is due to the fact that the interview is more commonly associated with clinical practice or research. This article aims to present interviews in the School Psychology context and discuss aspects which effectively collaborate for the re-thinking of this technique and its management.
