The academic league as a tool in psychology training: The LAPES experience

Abstract

In this article we analyze the emergence of psychology as a profession, linked to the construction of the field of Educational/School Psychology. In this context, we aim at questioning the relevance of an Academic League in building a practice and a theory on formal and informal educational spaces. We conducted a quantitative mapping of existing Psychology Academic Leagues, aiming at historical context that represents the Brazilian scenario. From this framework we intend to deepen the discussion on LAPES and its importance as a tool for training graduate students in psychology.
