The onset of the global pandemic in March 2020 demanded action from society to prevent the spread of the disease, including the adoption of remote teaching. The purpose of this literature review was to investigate how school psychologists acted during the pandemic. To this end, a search was conducted in national and international scientific databases. Thirty articles were analyzed based on established categories. Differences were found regarding the concepts that support the studied professionals’ actions in various countries, ranging from individualized work with students to collective work with parents and teachers. In the latter scenario, critical school psychology is advocated, considering the school psychologist to be a promoter of awareness, prevention, and emancipatory actions for human development and the transformation of reality. It is also important to note that this literature is recent and still unfolding in the face of the pandemic.
