International Bank of Educational Objects (BIOE): information treatment in a digital educational repositoryAbstract
The so-called digital educational repositories have their roots on the aspiration to make learning easier and more accessible allied to a wide dissemination in the use of digital repositories. These repositories are information systems that allow reutilization and application of educational objects available in different formats and languages. The objective of this paper is to show our experience while defining actions that aimed at the informational treatment of digital educational resources in the International Bank of Educational Objects (BIOE) and to present the results of the utilization of such standards in the study done by the University of Brasília
