Open-access Crafts and local knowledge in the local development context

The research was based on the inductive method, based on articles, documents and interview conducted with the artisan Indiana Marques. It is inferred that handicrafts are an activity that can be analyzed in different dimensions: environmental, historical, economic, social and cultural. Thus, fully integrated with the concept of local development, when presented as a path to sustainable growth and development.
