Open-access Sisyphus's education: on resentment, revenge and amok between teachers and students

Abstract

This article explains the explicit humiliation of students who have been obliged to repress their anxiety and fear, leading to frustration and resentment. In a society where everything is becoming more and more of a spectacle, this resentment feeds the hate towards the teacher until this hatred is exposed by the students through violent and spectacular actions, such as running Amok, a psychological syndrome, where the individual kills everybody in their way.
