Freirian Liberation today: the emergence of an educational policy as humanity on earth - homeland

The continuing need for Paulo Freire and his legacy in the praxis of current educational policies is presented, especially in the context of decolonization and human rights. It is discussed how many educational policies that call themselves Freirian can lack the true love and commitment that he defended. The investigation is carried out through transmethodologies, with rhizomatic deconstruction, focusing on complexity and decolonization. The importance of rebellion against injustice is discussed in order to support Freirian Liberation as a current educational policy for humanity on the homeland. Arguing that true liberation implies a necessary painful process of deconstruction and reconstruction of oppressive structures. There is criticism of standardized tests and uniform curricula that reinforce the idea of meritocracy and competition, instead of encouraging critical thinking. It points out how institutionalized education, instead of promoting liberation and transformation, perpetuates the oppressive status quo. Finally, a reconstruction of education based on Freirian principles is advocated, which includes a decolonial transdisciplinary perspective, assuming the commitment of educators to liberation.
