Systematic Literature Review on the New High School (2017–2023)

The objective of the study is to conduct a systematic review on the New High School literature from 2017 to August 2023, in order to understand the position of the academic community in the educational field regarding the theme. An electronic search for articles in the SciELO, Educ@ databases and 14 thematic issues was conducted using the key-words “New High School”, “High School Reform”, “MP 746”, “Law 13.415”, and their linguistic variations. The author, tittle, affiliated institution, journal, year of publication, and key-words were cataloged. A total of 139 articles from 40 journals were selected, comprising 479 key-words and 164 non-repeated key-words, 231 authors and 90 different institutions. The “topographic” analysis of the theme indicated the predominance of some topics, which were subjected to qualitative analysis.
