Punctuation Variations and Punctuation Patterns

Abstract

In this descriptive paper I analyse some causes for fluctuation in the form of punctuating, as well as discuss punctuation styles and trends with relation to: historical aspects, concept of mastering reading skills, preference for speech rhythm or writing syntactical organization and type of text. The considerations that have been made here are useful for the teaching of written language, specifically for text compositions.
