person Stefano Guzzini
Stefano Guzzini is the Chair in Political and Social Theory and Swiss co-chair in International Governance at the European University Institute, adjunct professor at the Geneva Graduate Institute, and senior research associate at the University of Ljubljana. His research features award-winning books and articles and has been translated into seven languages. He served as the editor of the Journal of International Relations and Development and of International Theory, as a member of the Governing Council of the International Studies Association (ISA) and of the Steering Committee of the Standing Group of International Relations (SGIR) of the ECPR, and as President of the Central and East European International Studies Association (CEEISA).

person Maíra Siman
Maíra Siman is Assistant Professor at the Institute of International Relations, Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (IRI/PUC-Rio), Brazil. She holds a master’s degree in International Studies from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva) and a PhD in International Relations from PUC-Rio. She is the coordinator of the Espaço Política Externa (EPE) Project, academic Coordinator of the Center on Democracy and the Armed Forces (NEDEFA) and researcher at the Global South Unit for Mediation (GSUM), from the BRICS Policy Center (BPC). Her main areas of research are: Peace and Conflict Studies; Critical Military Studies; Foreign Policy Analysis and Brazilian Foreign Policy.

person Carolina Salgado
Carolina Salgado has a PhD in International Relations from PUC-Rio with four years researching in Germany, and Master’s in International Relations from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). She is a professor at the Institute of International Relations at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (IRI/PUC-Rio). She has two post-doctorates in related areas and is the current coordinator of Foreign Policy Analysis at the Brazilian Association of International Relations. Her research agendas, projects and publications concern Global Health; Foreign Policy Analysis; International Organizations; European Union-Latin American relations; New Right and Extremism in Europe and the Americas.
