The social impact and the competence of the spanish telecenters in the Information Society: evaluation methodology from indicators and multivariable methods of analysis

Abstract

Spanish telecenters are an instrument for streamlining and social inclusion in the information society. There is, however, a lack of impact indicators that allow for the evaluation of social transformations that originate these entities in their areas of influence. With this in mind, an evaluation sistem with indicators and the "Multidimentional Selective Scale" multivariable methods of analysis as foundations is formulated, with the goal of calculating the impact of these entities in the information society.
