Abstract in English: The aim of this article is to question pluralism in Critical Management Studies (CMS) movement, to point out the limits of the post-structuralism as a critical epistemology, to denounce the risks of a critique in line with "engagement management" and to show different ways to arrive at a debate between theory and practice on the critical movement. To do so, we described the most important post-structuralism characteristics, questioning the critical status of this epistemology and also questioning pluralism in CMS. Next, we discuss how some of CMS' representatives defend "engagement management" through a critical perfomativity which uses inadequately formulations of post-structuralism. We also discuss other practical approaches for a critique in organization studies, using the concept of praxis and critical education as ways to enlighten consciences and reestablish a critical activism. We conclude that post-structuralism should be taken more seriously, what may indicate that is necessary to build a new theoretical movement to use its contributions, preserving its critical character. |

Abstract in English: The aim of this paper is to questioning whether the Actor-Network Theory would be, in fact, unable to contribute to the critical analyses in organizational studies. We discussed, then, the main characteristics of Critical Management Studies and its development in the Brazilian context. We also present some of the initial concepts of the ANT, which was subject to criticism by naturalizing organizations, transmitting the idea that the ordering process is static and can be understood in a mechanical way, and neglecting the political stance in its analyses. As a way to overcome such limitations, that would make difficult to position ANT as a critical approach, we discuss the new developments of this approach, known as ANT and After, which redefined some of its main concepts, enabling the use of it as a critical analytical "tool" to organizations. We conclude that many of the criticism intended for ANT, regarded to its uncritical and non-reflective character, are no longer appropriate, because of the new developments emerged from the ANT and After. |

Abstract in English: The purpose of this paper is to work out a critical investigation of Guerreiro Ramos conception in the organizational studies from its best known, consulted and referred contributions, aiming to understand his bedding and entailing, with the objective of defending the thesis that the critical analysis of Guerreiro Ramos do not authorize us to include him or to consider him as an adherent researcher to the Critical Theory. The critical positions of Guerreiro Ramos, as it will be shown, are based especially in his reflections about Husserl's phenomenology. To defend the thesis proposed, the analysis will be carried out based on the Critical Theory point of view. This study is organized in three parts. In the first one, it will deal with the conceptual contours of what one understands as Critical Theory and phenomenology. In the second part, it will display the proposal of the sociological reduction formulated by Guerreiro Ramos, added to his critique of Brazilian Sociology and the proposal of a new science of organizations. In the third part, a critical and objective analysis of the conception of Guerreiro Ramos will be done, based on a methodological position that integrates the meaning of the mentioned referenced books here criticized in the facts, taking into consideration the meaning of his intellectual production and the relation with his existential situation. |

Abstract in English: The appropriation and relations of Ernst Bloch, Antonio Gramsci and Paulo Freire's texts is an important part of the reflections shared in our collective work, which has as study subject organization and the praxis of liberation. In this article we present our situated readings of these authors, followed by an exercise of building relations among them. Reality as a historical process and the liberation of human beings from oppressive conditions (material and intellectual) are present in the writings of these three authors. For Freire, the liberation of the oppressed is also the liberation of the oppressor; for Gramsci, the subalterns should become hegemonic by the formulation of a new intellectual and moral direction which should be committed to the higher values of human kind: its existence; for Bloch, liberation is immanent to the human existence. Therefore, liberation is conceived by these authors as a process, the same stands for hegemony, which is never complete, fixed or definitive, or to reality, which is becoming all the time. Bloch, Gramsci and Freire authorize positions which connect the system critique with the present and concrete utopia, in our learning in the interaction with social movements and struggles. |
