SUMMARY
In rice disease observations at Pindamonhangaba, April, 1952, Heminthosporium, Piricularia, and several other fungi were evident but appeared at this time of minor economic importance. The latter was rather common in light head infections. Because these fungi present a potential damage, it is felt that the rice material should be threat, evaluated for disease reaction.
