Fertilizer experiments on wheat IX: N, P, K, S mineral fertilizer on latossolic B "terra roxa" soils

Abstract

This paper presents the results of six N, P, K, S mineral fertilizer trials on wheat (Triticum aestivum L.). They were carried out at the different areas of São Paulo state, on Latossolic B "Terra Roxa" soils, in 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, and 1973. The responses observed in these trials present little effects to nitrogen and potash and big effects to phosphorus. Sulphur did not increase the production. With the results of these trials, were computed quantities of N, P, K fertilizer to be applied, for several price relationships between wheat and fertilizer's nutrient.
