Isouron provided an excelent control for a period of two months of Brachiaria plantaginea (link) Hitch, Digitaria sanguinalis (L.) Scop., Amaranthus viridis L., Sonchus oleraceus L., Cyperus eragrostis Lam. e Richardia brasiliensis Gomes at the rates of 0.75 to 1.0 kg/ha-l , in preemergence applications. The growth and the productions of NA 5679 and SP 71-1406 cultivar were not affected by isouron.
