The occurrence of brucellosis in several species on the sarne farm is discussed. The disease occurred in four different animal species: swine, canine, equine and hurnan. The syrnptorns observed were abortion, death at birth and positivity for the following laboratory tests: Fast Serurn Agglutination, Slow Serurn Agglutination, 2-Mercaptoetanol and Card Test. There was no clinicai or serological evidence of brucellosis in buffaloes frorn that farrn. In hurnan beings there was observed fever, strong pain in the rnuscles and joints, as well as positive reaction in the 4 serological tests. From the aborted foetus and hurnan blood the isolation of Brucella suis was possible.
