RAILLIETIA AURJS (ACARI MESOSTIGMATA): DYNAMICS OF THE PARASITISM ON BOVINE SPECIES FROM THE REGION OF RIBEIRA VALLEY, SÃO PAULO, BRAZILThe authors point out the dynamics of the parasitism by Raillietia auris (Leidy, 1872) on bovines from Ribeira Valley, south region of the state of São Paulo. From 40 animais examined, 31 (77.5%) were positive with an intensity ofparasitism that ranged from 2 to 132 mites per animal. From 921 mites examined, 848 (92.07%) were females, 17 (1.84%) males, and 56 (6.08%) were Iarvae.
