ENCORE... BEYOND THE PLEASURE PRINCIPLE: TRAUMA, REALITY AND BODY EVENT

text is part of the articulation of Jacques Lacan’s Encore seminar, with the text Beyond the Pleasure Principle, by Sigmund Freud, in which we problematize the modes of enjoyment involved in the constitution of symptoms that affect the body, highlighting a drive excess unrelated to a representation. This dialogue will advance through a succinct review of the trauma, going through the Lacanian reality and the clinic of excess that results from it, in order to outline a direction for treatment in these symptomatic modalities.
