Open-access Lamelar ictiosis with ocular complications: A case report

Lamelar ichthyosis is characterized by keratinization and descamation of the skin, ectropion, conjunctivitis and keratitis. A case of exposure keratitis followed by infeccious corneal ulcer in a patient with lamelar ichthyosis is reported. The authors describe alternatives to ocular terapeutic and ectropion correction.
