NEW TAXA OF AMAZONIAN CHRYSOBALANACEAEFive new taxa of Amazonian Chrysobalanaceae are described based on recently collected material: Couepia cidiana Prance, Hirtella radamii Prance, Licania heteromorpha Benth. var. revoluta Prance, Licania miltonii Prance, and Licania tocantina Prance. The continued collection of many undescribed taxa indicates that there is still much to be done in the basic botanical inventory of Amazonia.
